Hadith #45542
Waki` narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Najiya bin Ka`b, on the authority of Ali, he said, when Abu Talib died, I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. So I said, “Your uncle, the misguided sheikh, has died.” So he said, “Go and fight and do not do anything until you come to me.” He said So I went and went to see him, and he ordered me to wash, then he called for me with supplications that I would like to have in them, whatever he offered me.
