Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45558

Al-Amash narrated to us, on the authority of Saad bin Ubaidah, on the authority of Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: We were sitting with the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, at a funeral, I see him, he said, in Baqi’ al-Gharqad. He said, “So he cried on the ground,” then he raised his head and said, “What of you?” Of anyone but it has been written that his seat is in Paradise and his seat is in Hell. He said, “We said, ‘O Messenger of God. Shall we not rely?’ He said, ‘No, do it, for every person is facilitated.’” Then he recited {As for him who gives and fears} up to his saying {We will make it easy for hardship}.
