حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَإِنْ غُلِبْتُمْ فَلَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي.
Abdullah told me, Suwayd bin Saeed told me, Abdul Hamid bin Al-Hasan Al-Hilali told me, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Hubayra bin Yarim, On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan, but if you are defeated, do not miss the remaining seven days.
