حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَصَلَاتُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ وَإِنْ جَلَسَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَصَلَاتُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ.
Yahya bin Adam told us, Israel told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman, he said: I heard Ali, may God be pleased with him. He says: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that when a servant sits in his place of prayer after praying, the angels pray over him. And their prayers are upon him, O God, forgive him, O God, have mercy on him, and if he sits waiting for the prayer, the angels pray over him, and their prayers are upon him, O God, forgive him May God have mercy on him.
