Hadith #45697
Abu Nu`aym told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Kathir, Abi Hashim, Baya’ Al-Sabiri, on the authority of Qais Al-Kharifi, he said: I heard Ali, may God be pleased with him. May God bless him and grant him peace. He said on this pulpit that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, preceded him and Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, prayed and a third Omar, then we were struck by temptation or temptation struck us, and it happened as God wished.
