Hadith #44832
Muhammad bin Bakr told us, Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Ali bin Zaid, he said: I came to Medina and entered upon Salim bin Abdullah, and I was wearing a robe. Shame, and Salem said to me: What are you doing with these clothes? I heard my father speaking on the authority of Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said, “Only someone who has no manners wears silk.”
