Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45710

Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Al-Khalil, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said that Al-Mughirah b. The tip of a spear, so when we went out with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a campaign, he would go out with it, and he would focus it while the people passed by it. So they carried him, and I said, “If I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, I would inform him.” He said, “If you did that, you would not pick up a stray.”
