Hadith #45727
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَضَعَ الْخَاتَمَ فِي الْوُسْطَى ‏.‏
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Jabir, he said: I heard Abu Burdah, narrating on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: He forbade me The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, told me to put the ring in the middle.
