Hadith #44645
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يُقَادُ وَالِدٌ مِنْ وَلَدٍ.
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرِثُ الْمَالَ مَنْ يَرِثُ الْوَلَاءَ.
Abu Saeed narrated to us, Abdullah bin Lahi’ah narrated to us, Amr bin Shuaib narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, on the authority of Omar, may God be pleased with him, that The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “A father shall not be led by a child.” And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “A father shall not be led by a child.” Money is the one who inherits loyalty.
