Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45746

Bahz bin Asad narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, Salama bin Kuhail narrated to us, on the authority of Hujjayah bin Adiy, that Ali, may God be pleased with him He was asked about the cow, and he said about seven. He was asked about the broken-horned one, and he said, “No problem.” He was asked about the limp, so he said, “It has not reached the ritual.” Then he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us to look out with eyes and ears.”
