حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنْ الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنْ الرَّمِيَّةِ قِتَالُهُمْ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ.
Yahya bin Adam narrated to us, Israel narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Suwayd bin Ghafla, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. The Messenger said, May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. At the end of time there will be a people who recite the Qur’an but it will not go beyond their throats. They will abandon Islam as The arrow passes from the target. Fighting them is a duty upon every Muslim.
