Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45835
Hadith #45835
Hafs bin Ghayath told us, on the authority of Hisham, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: A man collects a bunch of firewood with it, then comes and puts it in the market and sells it, then he is self-sufficient with it and spends it on himself. It is better for him than to He asks people whether they gave him something or withheld something from him.
