حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا، حَمَلَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا غَمْرَةُ أَوْ غَمْرَاءُ وَقَالَ فَوَجَدَ فَرَسًا أَوْ مُهْرًا يُبَاعُ فَنُسِبَتْ إِلَى تِلْكَ الْفَرَسِ فَنُهِيَ عَنْهَا‏.‏
Yazid bin Harun told us, Sulayman, meaning Al-Taymi, told us, on the authority of Abu Uthman, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amir, on the authority of Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam, That a man mounted a mare called Ghumrah or Ghumrah and found a mare or foal being sold and it was attributed to that mare, so he was forbidden.
