Hadith #37087
عَنِ البَرَاءِ بنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم بعِيَادَةِ الْمَريضِ وَاتِّبَاعِ الجَنَازَةِ وَتَشْمِيتِ العَاطِسِ وَإبْرَارِ الْمُقْسِمِ وَنَصْرِ المَظْلُومِ وَإجَابَةِ الدَّاعِي وَإفْشَاءِ السَّلاَمِ متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ
On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded us to visit the sick, follow the funeral procession, and praise the one who sneezes. Justifying the divider, helping the oppressed, responding to the supplicant, and extending greetings are agreed upon.
