وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: جَاءَ رجل إِلَى النَّبِي صلى فَقَالَ: إِن فلَانا يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ سَرَقَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ سَيَنْهَاهُ مَا تَقُولُ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: A man came to the Prophet who was praying and said: So-and-so prays at night, and when the morning comes he stole and said: He will end it. What you say. Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman
