Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51832

On the authority of Abu Bakra, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Abu al-Dajjal will remain for thirty years without a son being born to them, then a boy will be born to them.” He is one-eyed and has the least benefit. His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, mourned for us. His parents, and he said: “His father is so long at meat, it is as if his nose is a beak, and his mother is a broad-shouldered woman with long arms.” Abu Bakra said: We heard about a baby born among the Jews. So I and Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam went until we went to see his parents. So, we mourned the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Peace be upon him, so we said: Do you have a child? They said: We remained for thirty years without a child being born to us, then a one-eyed boy was born to us who had no molars and was of little use. His eyes slept but his heart did not sleep. He said: So we went out from them, and behold, he was lying in the sun, wearing velvet, and he was humming. So he revealed his head and said: What you said: And did you hear what we said? He said: Yes, my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
