Hadith #48549
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَافَرَ وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَطَوَّعَ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِنَاقَتِهِ فَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى حَيْثُ وَجهه ركابه. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Anas, he said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, traveled and wanted to perform voluntary prayers, he would face the qiblah with his she-camel, say “Allahu Akbar” and then pray. Where his stirrups directed him. Narrated by Abu Dawood
