Hadith #48611
On the authority of Ibn Omar, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to deliver two sermons. He would sit when he ascended the pulpit until the muezzin was finished, and then he would show him the muezzin. He gets up and delivers the sermon, then sits and does not speak, then gets up and delivers the sermon. Narrated by Abu Dawood
