On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The wind never blew without the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, kneeling on his knees and saying: “O God, make it a mercy and do not Make it a torment. Oh God, make it a wind and do not make it a wind.” Ibn Abbas said in the Book of God Almighty: (Indeed, We sent upon them a wind a cockroach) and (We sent upon them the sterile wind) (And We sent the fertilizing wind) and (to send the winds bringing good tidings) Narrated by Al-Shafi’i and Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Dawa’at Al-Kabir.
