Hadith #48985
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ صَدَقَةٌ فِي عَبْدِهِ وَلَا فِي فَرَسِهِ» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ فِي عَبْدِهِ صَدَقَةٌ إِلَّا صَدَقَةُ الْفِطْرِ»
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “A Muslim is not required to pay zakat on his slave or on his horse.” In a narration, he said: “There is no charity given to his servant except the zakat al-fitr.”
