Hadith #49299
On the authority of Abu Saeed bin Al-Mu’alla, he said: I was praying in the mosque, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, called me, but I did not answer him until I prayed and then came to him. So I said, O Messenger of God, I was praying. He said, “Didn’t God say, ‘Respond to God and the Messenger when he calls you?’” Then he said to me, “Shall I not teach you?” The greatest surah in the Qur’an before you leave the mosque.” So he took my hand, and when he wanted to leave, I said to him, “Didn’t you say, ‘I will teach you a surah that is greater than the Qur’an’?” He said: “Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.” It is the Seven Repeated Verses and the Great Qur’an. which you have been given.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari
