وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ فُتِحَ لَهُ مِنْكُمْ بَابُ الدُّعَاءِ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ الرَّحْمَةِ وَمَا سُئِلَ اللَّهُ شَيْئًا يَعْنِي أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يُسْأَلَ الْعَافِيَةَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “For whomever the door of supplication is opened among you, the doors of supplication will be opened for him.” Mercy, and God has never been asked for anything more beloved to Him than to be asked for well-being.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
