عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِيَسْأَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ رَبَّهُ حَاجَتَهُ كُلَّهَا حَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ شِسْعَ نَعله إِذا انْقَطع» زَادَ فِي رِوَايَةٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ مُرْسَلًا «حَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ الْمِلْحَ وَحَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ شِسْعَهُ إِذَا انْقَطع» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Let one of you ask his Lord all his needs, until a large number of people ask Him.” If his sandal is torn, he added in a narration on the authority of Thabit al-Bunani, mursal, “until the salt asks for it, and until its breadth asks for it when it is torn.” He narrated it Al-Tirmidhi
