وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِيهِ وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَى نَبِيِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً فَإِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُمْ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُمْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A people has never sat in a gathering in which they did not mention God and did not pray for their Prophet but that it would be upon them.” Once, if He willed, He would punish them, and if He wished, He would forgive them.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
