Hadith #49467
وَعَنْ سَعْدَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
دَعْوَةُ ذِي النُّونِ إِذا دَعَا رَبَّهُ وَهُوَ فِي بَطْنِ الْحُوتِ (لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظالمينَ)
لَمْ يَدْعُ بِهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ فِي شَيْءٍ إلاَّ استجابَ لَهُ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Saad, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
The supplication of Dhul-Nun when he called on his Lord while he was in the belly of the whale (There is no god but You, Glory be to You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers)
No Muslim man supplicated for anything without it being answered.” Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi.

Sa'd reported God’s messenger as saying that no Muslim will supplicate God for anything and fail to receive an answer when he uses Dhun Nun’s supplication when he was in the belly of the fish
