Hadith #49511
عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ فِيكَ وَلَا أُبَالِي يَا ابنَ آدمَ إِنَّك لَوْ بَلَغَتْ ذُنُوبُكَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ وَلَا أُبَالِي يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ لَوْ لَقِيتَنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا ثُمَّ لَقِيتَنِي لَا تُشْرِكُ بِي شَيْئًا لَأَتَيْتُكَ بِقُرَابِهَا مغْفرَة ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
وَرَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ
وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيّ: هَذَا حَدِيث حسن غَرِيب
On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God Almighty said: O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what you have done.” It was in you, and I do not care, O son of Adam. If your sins reached the clouds of the sky, and then you asked Me for forgiveness, I would forgive you, and I do not care, O son of Adam. Indeed, if you were to meet Me with an earth full of sins, and then you met Me, not associating anything with Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly full of it.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and narrated by Ahmad. Al-Darimi on the authority of Abu Dharr, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.
