Hadith #49525
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ (هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَة)
قَالَ:
قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ أَنَا أَهْلٌ أَنْ أُتَّقَى فَمَنِ اتَّقَانِي فَأَنَا أَهْلٌ أَنْ أَغْفِرَ لَهُ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه والدارمي
On the authority of Anas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he recited (He is the people of piety and the people of forgiveness)
He said:
Your Lord said, “I am worthy to be pious, so whoever fears Me, I am worthy to be forgiven.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Al-Darimi.
