Hadith #49548
عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مَثَلَ الَّذِي يعْمل السَّيئَة ثُمَّ يَعْمَلُ الْحَسَنَاتِ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ دِرْعٌ ضَيِّقَةٌ قَدْ خَنَقَتْهُ ثُمَّ عَمِلَ حَسَنَةً فَانْفَكَّتْ حَلْقَةٌ ثُمَّ عَمِلَ أُخْرَى فَانْفَكَّتْ أُخْرَى حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ»
رَوَاهُ فِي شَرْحِ السّنة
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The example of one who does evil and then does good deeds is like a man who was He was wearing a tight shield that choked him. Then he did a good deed, and one ring came loose. Then he made another, and another was loosened until it came out to “The Earth” was narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah
