Hadith #49552
On the authority of Thawban, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “The servant seeks God’s satisfaction, and he does not stop doing so. God Almighty says to Gabriel: So-and-so, my servant, is seeking to please Me, and my mercy is upon him. Gabriel says: God’s mercy is upon so-and-so, and a bearer says: Throne, and those around them say it until the inhabitants of the seven heavens say it, then it descends to the earth for him.” Narrated by Ahmad.
