On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say in the morning: “O God, by you we have become in the morning, by you we have entered the evening, and by you we live.” By you we die, and to you is my return.” And when evening comes, he says: “O God, by you we have entered the evening and by you we have become in the morning, by you we live, by you we die, and to You is the resurrection.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah
