Hadith #49603
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ جَلَسَ مَجْلِسًا فَكَثُرَ فِيهِ لَغَطُهُ فَقَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ: سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالْبَيْهَقِيّ فِي الدَّعْوَات الْكَبِير
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever sits in a gathering and his confusion increases and says before he gets up: Glory be to You.” Oh God, and by Your praise I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You, unless he is forgiven for what happened in that gathering.” He narrated it Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Bayhaqi in the great supplications
