وَعَن سلمانَ قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ أَنَّ بَرَكَةَ الطَّعَامِ الْوُضُوءُ بَعْدَهُ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «بَرَكَةُ الطَّعَامِ الْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَهُ وَالْوُضُوءُ بعدَه» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Salman, he said: I read in the Torah that the blessing of food is the ablution after it. I mentioned that to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said May God bless him and grant him peace: “The blessing of food is the ablution before it and the ablution after it.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood
