Hadith #49608
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُسَافِرَ فَأَوْصِنِي قَالَ: «عَلَيْكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كل شرف» . قَالَ: فَلَمَّا وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اطْوِ لَهُ الْبعد وهون عَلَيْهِ السّفر» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: A man said: O Messenger of God, I want to travel, so advise me. He said: “You must fear God and exalt God in every honor.” He said: When the man turned away, he said: “O God, lengthen the distance for him and make the journey easy for him.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
