Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #49662
Hadith #49662
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say: “O God, benefit me with what you have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.” Praise be to God in every condition, and I seek refuge in God from the condition of the people of Hell. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a strange hadith with a strange chain of transmission
