Hadith #49702
On the authority of Abu Umamah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever is not prevented from performing Hajj by an apparent need, an oppressive ruler, or an illness If someone is in prison and dies without performing the Hajj, then he may die as a Jew if he wishes, and if he wishes he may die as a Christian.” Narrated by Al-Darimi
