Hadith #49770
وَعَن ابنِ عبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ دَفَعَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَسَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَاءَهُ زَجْرًا شَدِيدًا وَضَرْبًا لِلْإِبِلِ فَأَشَارَ بِسَوْطِهِ إِلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ فَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيْسَ بِالْإِيضَاعِ» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he was pushed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Arafat, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, heard behind him severe rebuke and beatings. To the camels, so he pointed with his whip at them and said: “O people, be calm, for righteousness does not come from neglect.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari
