Hadith #49952
Hudhayfah said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: " Verily, there was a man before you who came to the King to receive his soul, and he said to him: Did you know who is good? He said: I do not know. He was told to look. He said: I do not know anything other than that I was selling people in the world and rewarding them So I will help the affluent and forgive the needy, and God will admit him to Paradise.” And in a similar narration by Muslim, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir and Ubayy Masoud Al-Ansari “Then God said, ‘I have more right to this than you. They have neglected my servant.’”
