On the authority of Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa, he said: I came to Medina and met Abdullah bin Salam, and he said: You are in a land in which usury is shameful, if you have a right over a man and he gives a gift. If you receive a load of hay, or a load of barley, or a rope of hay, do not take it, for it is usury. Narrated by Al-Bukhari
