وَعَن أُميَّة بن صَفْوَان عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَعَارَ مِنْهُ أَدْرَاعَهُ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَقَالَ: أَغَصْبًا يَا مُحَمَّدَ؟ قَالَ: «بَلْ عَارِيَةً مَضْمُونَةً» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Umayyah ibn Safwan, on the authority of his father: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, borrowed his armor from him on the day of Hunayn and said: Are you being usurped, Muhammad? He said: “Rather, it is naked and secured.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
