Hadith #50194
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَمَنْ مَاتَ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ وَفَاءً فَعَلَيَّ قَضَاؤُهُ. وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ» . وَفِي رِوَايَة: «من ترك دينا أَو ضيَاعًا فَلْيَأْتِنِي فَأَنَا مَوْلَاهُ» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلًّا فَإِلَيْنَا»
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “I have more right to the believers than they themselves. So whoever dies owing a debt and leaves no repayment... So I have to make up for it. And whoever leaves behind wealth, it belongs to his heirs.” And in a narration: “Whoever leaves a debt or loss, let him come to me, for I am his master.” And in a narration:
