On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Any man who has intercourse with a woman and has intercourse with her is not permissible.” He has the right to marry her daughter, but if he does not have intercourse with her, then he may marry her daughter. And any man who marries a woman is not permissible for him to marry her mother. Whether he entered or not. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and he said: This hadith is not authentic based on its chain of transmission. Rather, it was narrated by Ibn Lahi’ah and Al-Muthanna Ibn Al-Sabbah on the authority of Amr Ibn Shuaib and they are both weak in the hadith
