Hadith #50486
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: إِنَّ هندا بنت عتبَة قَالَت: يَا رَسُول الله إِن أَبَا سُفْيَان رجل شحيح وَلَيْسَ يعطيني مَا يَكْفِينِي وَوَلَدي إِلَّا مَا أخذت مِنْهُ وَهُوَ يعلم فَقَالَ: «خذي مَا يَكْفِيك وولدك بِالْمَعْرُوفِ»
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: Hinda bint Utbah said: O Messenger of God, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and he does not give me what is enough for me and my children except what I took from him. And he knew, so he said: “Take what is sufficient for you and your children, in a reasonable manner.”
