Hadith #50695
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الحدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ثمَّ إِنْ زنَتْ فلْيجلدْها الحدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَبِعْهَا ولوْ بحبْلٍ منْ شعرٍ»
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: I heard the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saying: “If the female slave of one of you commits adultery and her adultery becomes clear, let her be flogged without punishment.” He will punish her, then if she commits adultery, let him flog her, but he will not punish her. Then if she commits the third adultery and her adultery becomes clear, then he should sell her, even if it is for a strand of hair.”
