وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِمَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: «أَحَقٌّ مَا بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ؟» قَالَ: وَمَا بَلَغَكَ عَنِّي؟ قَالَ: «بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ قَدْ وَقَعْتَ عَلَى جَارِيَةِ آلِ فُلَانٍ» قَالَ: نَعَمْ فَشَهِدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ فَأمر بهِ فرجم. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Ma’iz ibn Malik: “Is what I heard about you true?” He said: What have you heard from me? He said: “I have been informed that you have had sexual intercourse with the slave girl of the family of so-and-so.” He said: Yes, so he testified four times, so he was ordered to be stoned. Narrated by Muslim
