Hadith #50738
On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Whoever’s intercession is prevented from exceeding the limits of God’s limits has gone against God.” And whoever disputes about something that is false and knows it, he will remain in the wrath of God Almighty until it is removed. And whoever says about a believer something that is not in him, He will put him to rest. May God destroy the mind until it comes out of what he said. Narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud, and in a narration by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman: “Whoever helps in a dispute without knowing whether it is right or wrong is in the wrath of God until he is removed.”
