On the authority of Anas: Eighty men from the people of Mecca descended on the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, from Mount Tanim, armed, wanting to surprise the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and his companions, so he took them in peace and made them alive. And in a narration: Then he freed them, and God sent down God Almighty (And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them in the interior of Mecca) Narrated by Muslim
