Hadith #51095
وَعَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلَيْنِ جَاءَا مِنْ عِنْدِ مُسَيْلِمَةَ: «أَمَّا وَاللَّهِ لَوْلَا أَنَّ الرُّسُلَ لَا تُقْتَلُ لَضَرَبْتُ أَعْنَاقَكُمَا» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Nu`aym bin Masoud, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to two men who came from Musaylimah: “By God, had the Messengers not Do not be killed because I struck your necks.” Narrated by Ahmed and Abu Dawood
