On the authority of Abu Rafi’, he said: Quraysh sent me to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and when I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Islam was cast into my heart. So I said: O Messenger of God, by God, I will never return to them. He said: “I will never break a covenant, nor will I withhold.” cold, but return. If what is in your soul now is within you, then return.” He said: So I went and came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I converted to Islam. Narrated by Abu Dawood
