Hadith #51250
وَعَن العبَّاسِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُرِيدُ أَنْ نَكْنُسَ زَمْزَمَ وَإِنَّ فِيهَا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْجِنَّانِ يَعْنِي الْحَيَّاتِ الصِّغَارِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِهِنَّ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Al-Abbas, may God be pleased with him, he said: O Messenger of God, we want to sweep Zamzam, and in it are some of these gardens, meaning small snakes, so he commanded The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, killed them. Narrated by Abu Dawood
