On the authority of Aisha, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to eat watermelon with dates. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawud added: He says: “This person’s heat is broken by this person’s cold, and this person’s coldness is broken by this person’s heat.” Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.
